Who remembers being in a relationship in like grade 6, 7 or 8? I remember everyone broke up with each other in the harshest ways ever haha you just walk up to your gf or bf and be like "you're dumped" and watch their little heart break... kids are cold as ice XD ...I remember after grade 6 I moved away without telling my little gf ... she was probably wondering where I was when highschool started... 11 year old Sean didn't play that "goodbye" shit lol jk.

I remember when all you had to do is punch each other in the arm it was love at first site.

Gosh I had two girlfriends at one time in the 6th grade , I had to do extra chores to get a little extra money to keep em both in bubblegum . I had my heart broken by a freckled face girl name Bobby English , I will never forget her . I think she grew up and ended up a lesbian from what I heard . Oh well she sure could give good kisses .

Good Post Sean , brought back memories and yes loved passing notes . check yes if you love me check no if you dont love me. so simple back then

A friend of mine I play Second Life with is in ICU. It got me thinking about all my online friends. I have ton of rl friends and I have a ton of online friends and both friendships mean the same to me. My online friends I might not ever meet rl, though I have had the pleasure to meet some, but they are just as real to me. I am very concerned about my online friend in the hospital. He is in his 50's and has had issue with his blood pressure. I spoke to him a few days before he went in. Then day before he went in I told my other friends how concerned I was because he not been online. Then the next day, yesterday, I got the news. I just want to tell my online VR friends you mean just as much to me as my rl friends. Your friendship I cherish. I could not even begin to list all of you. I just want to say a big THANK YOU for letting this Injun be your friend.

VK I know you know you would be tops on that list. Your friendship is very dear to me. Yeah even here when a friend does no long on for days I start to wonder... are they ok? I think these days with social media being so popular that more and more people are understanding that you can get just as close to people online as you can in rl. Thank you VK for being my friend. For making me laugh, listening to my crap when I am mad... for being there. I hope I am as good of a friend to you that you are to me.

I have visited Canada a couple of times in my life , hopefully that will happen again.

Its wonderful that we can connect with people online and become close like family. I also cherish my online friends as much as my rl ones. That makes you one of them! Wishing your friend a speedy recovery.

That was a beautiful message you left for your friends. Some say online friends are not real friends but I say BS! Friendship as well as love comes from the heart, not a physical connection. True friendship and love comes from a spiritual realm - the physical connection is a very small part of it. I hope your RL friend will be alright. ~Mina

I favored your Journal.

Wimbledon 12-seed gives thoughts on VAMPIRES in tennis. Was asked about UMPIRES.

You have to give Latvian tennis player Ernests Gulbis credit for being a gamer when it comes to answering questions from the press. On Monday, the Wimbledon twelve seed sat down for the standard post-match press conference. At one point, the topic of conversation turns to John McEnroe’s latest idea that the sport should get rid of umpires and let the players make their own calls during matches. The questioner, essentially, asks Gulbis if he agrees with getting rid of umpires? “Get rid of vampires?” Gulbis asks, before answering the question metaphorically, but seriously—about vampires. After a solid soliloquy on the ill effects of vampires on pro players, he good-naturedly realizes the screw up. Could happen to anyone really.

I have been dating this girl now a few months and we are really hitting it off. I wanted to step it up a bit and really impress her. (yeah ladies us guys do this stuff sometimes) I decided would I bake her something homemade. You know, to show off my l3wt baking skills! I asked a few of my lady friends what dessert they liked the most and most popular answer seemed to be cheese cake. I had never made one before. One of my female friend gave me a recipe for key lime cheese cake. First I did not know what a springform pan was. I ventured out to Walmart and with some help of a lady at the store... I am now the proud owner of a springform pan. I brought all the ingredients, came home and... has any one baked something before that calls for a 1 cup of key lime juice? Those suckers are tiny! And I swear for 1 cup it takes 5739960278 key limes. I dedicated myself to the kitchen for hours and slaved and mixed and squeezed and beat and I learned a baking tip... don't put eggs near the edge of the counter...yeah a few rolled off.... And crushing graham crakers into 2 cups of crumbs... I was using a hammer till one of my friends said Noooo put them in a baggy and use a rolling pen... so another trip to Walmart I am now the proud honor of a rolling pen! This baking from scratch is HARD work! LOL My kitchen was a total mess by the time the cake went into the oven. I still do not understand why cheese cake needs flour but I out it in anyways. I love...love vanilla and I added a little extra from what the recipe called for...My roomys were laughing there asses off. But the end result... she was impressed! After, we had to let it chill for 6 hours I am proud to present...and guys just let me say this... she was extremely happy and totally surprised! Know what I mean. *wiggles his eye brows* And I must say the key lime cheese cake really was good!

Sometimes trial by error can be quite funny when you look back at it can't it? Either way great job for your first try at it. Cheese cake by popular belief is not as easy as people think, the fact you used all natural ingredients (IE the key limes) just shows you were head on. I am glad you suprized the young lady.

Perhaps you could shoot me over the recipe as well. Got the love of my life coming up next month and I want to treat her to a great desert. Hope things go well with you and the female.

Also grab that hammer and tenderize a steak for yourself you deserve it.

The Recipe

Crust:

2 cups of graham cracker crumbs, crushed, (appox 2 sleeves) I had to google what graham cracker sleeves are, its 2 packages, 3 or 4 come in a box! LOL, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1/4 cup granulated sugar.

Filling:

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of sour cream

3 8oz packages of cream cheese at room temp

1/4 cup of flour

2 teaspoons of vanilla ( I added 3)

4 eggs ( put on edge of counter will be a bad idea)

3/4 cup of fresh key lime juice (I did not use quite 3/4 cups but close to it.)

9 x10 inch springform pan, combine crumbs, melted butter and 1/4 cup of sugar. I mixed this all in a bowl well, then you press evenly over the bottom of the pan and halfway up the sides. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes. NO longer.

Cream room temp cream cheese well, add sugar, cream until smooth, scraping sides and bottom of bowl frequently to integrate any cream cheese lumps. Cream in sour cream, eggs, flour, vanilla when smooth stir in the key lime juice.

Pour over prepared crust. Return to 375 over for 15 min. Lower temp to 250 and continue to bake for 50 min. Cool on wire rack IN PAN for 20 min. Run a sharp knife around edges to loosen cheesecake but do NOT remove from pan. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Then when I went to serve it I put some lime wedges around the top and I zest some of the limes, the peel to make it pretty. I also got some cool whip and flavored it when key lime juice and zest and put some on top of the cake.

Key limes are strong that is why I did not use a full 3/4 cups of it in the cake. I used a little over a 1/2 a cup and the cake came out just fine.
